ARRGHH sick :(

Well, I'm sick. It sucks. Seems like every month I get sick and then I don't run and then I have to cut back. Drives me nuts

I'm feeling a bit better today, and hopefully I'll feel even better tomorrow. Maybe I'll go run if I feel better. I am determined not to gain too much weight with this pregnancy.

Well, I'm kinda bummed. I've already gained a few lbs and I've already outgrown my 8's. I'm trying to remember that this is for a reason. And I'm 60 lbs lighter and healhtier than I was when I was pregnant with Kalynn!


I've kept running, I ran 3 x's this week! But I think my running days are coming to an end soon. To put it nicely, my chest is starting to hurt when I run.

I may just start walking soon. But, it's better than no exercise though!

So, since my "journey" has a detour, I may just open up a pregnancy blog. I'll probably reopen this when I start to lose my baby weight..I'll email to let everyone know when I've opened it up!

I heart my Forerunner

It totally rocks. It tells me exactly how many miles I've ran and what my pace is. It's got some other cool stuff but I haven't played with it yet.


I went for a run Tuesday and I went for a run today. Today I did over 3 miles. My legs are a little sore, but it was nice to get out and run. Just to be on the safe side, I called the OB to make sure it was ok to run. The nurse said yes, if I had been running before which I have. So, I got the ok.

My Detour

My journey to healthy living has a bit of a detour. I am currently pregnant with our 2nd child. I'm about 4 weeks pg, and my due date is around late August, early September.

I haven't run in about 3 weeks. 2 weeks I was sick and then this week I just have been feeling blah. However, I want to keep running, as long as I feel good. I am feeling a bit better, I haven't really had any morning sickness. I'm a bit tired, but I can still function. So, I am going to keep running this week. I really want to keep in shape with this pregnancy. I am about 50-60 lbs lighter than when I was pg with Kalynn. I am hoping that since I am in better shape, that my labor will be shorter. My last labor was 29 hours and I'm hoping that it will be significantly less.

So, I will keep running, and eating better, just not to lose weight. .Although, I haven't been eating very well this week, I plan on doing better this week.

FREEEEEZING!!!

Hello! I'm doing very well weight wise. My ticker has moved! My goal weight is 145 and I'm 147.5. Hopefully, if I keep on doing what I'm doing, I'll get to 145! I think my sewing has really helped. I'm keeping busy with my sewing orders, and I don't get bored and I don't snack.

I haven't been able to run since Tuesday. Yesterday we got a weird ice storm, where it got below freezing. Today may not be any better. Today is group run but I don't think I'll be able to go..I just asked advice on what to wear when it's cold. They said NOT to wear cotton and that's all I have. And I really don't want to freeze my booty off. I guess this means I need to get on the machine of torture. Too bad I don't live close to mom, I could use her tread mill :D

Speaking of mom..Mom, I think you need to start a blog and use a ticker to keep track of your progress!! Dad too, because he's lost over 60 lbs and he looks so great!

One of my biggest fears was the holidays and I think I'm doing pretty well!! I did gain weight but I've lost it!

My new ventures

So, how does everyone like my new template? And see the ticker at the bottom? I don't have much further to go!!


I've started a new venture which I think is helping me with my weight loss!! I belong to a message board where I've decided to sell my sewing projects! It's been going well, therefore, keeping me busy so I won't get bored and snack on bad stuff.

I haven't been able to run this week. I did, work out on the elliptical yesterday! I really hate that thing. I call is the "machine of torture". I don't know why I despise it so much.

The lbs that I gained at Thanksgiving, I have lost them! Very happy about that! I'm below 150 by .5 of a lb, but hey, that's fine with me!

What a week!!!

I'm so glad tomorrow is Monday.

This past week has just been nuts. Tuesday we went out of town to Jasper. We went there to visit Bill's mom. David, Bill's brother, came down from Wisconsin as well. It was very nice seeing them. I hadn't seen David and their family for 4 years!

Of course, when we were out of town, that meant lots of eating out. I didn't eat as much but I still didn't eat very well. We left after lunch on Wed. Got home Wed evening and ate fast food. Then Thursday was Thanksgiving. At Thanksgiving, I went to my Aunt's house and then my mom's house. This weekend, wasn't too great either. However, I did manage to get 3 days of running in.

Unfortunately, I have gained 2.5 lbs. But this week is a new week, and it's back to my healthy eating habits and running.
