Throwing out the scale
Well, today was another weigh in and no weight loss. I even tried doing things differently. On my runs, I did some intervals--You run your normal pace and then you go as fast as you can for 30 seconds. My legs felt like they were going to fall off!
I almost feel like I don't want to run anymore. But I know I need to and I really enjoy it. Plus, if I were to stop, I'd get into my old habits again and gain some weight back. I like being in 8-10's. I don't ever want to go back to size 20. So, that's enough motivation for me.
And perhaps, 155 is the lowest that I can ever get?
So, I'm going to have Bill hide the scale and I can weigh myself once every 2 weeks?

Hey Celeste, that is so great that you've gotten to where you are now!!! I shown all my coworkers your blog/pictures. Remember, don't get frusterated because you don't meet the "goal weight." The extra skin weighs a ton, as well as the muscle in your legs that you used to need to carry the extra weight.
Stephan is right, muscle does weigh more than fat. Don't obsess about the scale, even my hero Oprah, said she doesn't focus on weight anymore, just how her clothes fit and how she feels.
You've done a great job, be proud.
Celeste, throw out the scale! :) Have you tried taking your measurements? I've started going to Curves, and we weigh and measure once a month. My first month, I gained two pounds but lost five inches - muscle, baby! You're doing great. I have pics from J's first birthday party, and I have some of you and Kalynn - you so don't even look like the same person!
